North Georgia State Fair

I enjoy photographing at night.  Shooting without flash at high ISO always produces surprises for me in contrast and color saturation.

Earlier this month I spent an evening at the North Georgia State Fair in Marietta, GA.  I've been to a few fairs in New England, but this fair just outside of Atlanta is the biggest I've been to yet.  It goes on for something like 10 days and at certain hours the traffic backs up for a mile waiting to get in.

Here are my three best selections from that evening.  All were shot hand-held on a Canon 5D at ISO 1600 using a 24-70 mm f2.8 L lense.
