Composing Interior Shots

Find some important tips on interior architectural shooting from west coast photographer Scott HargisThis twelve and half minute video was recently posted on FStoppers.com and it covers some of the fundamentals of composing interior shots. It is highly instructive and unambiguous.

Scott illustrates  3 points quite well in his video:

1. Don't automatically shoot wide
2. Pay attention to how the foreground lines up with the background
3. Pay attention to the shapes and tones in the photo

This video is barely the most essential introduction to the challenges of composing interior architectural shots, but is an excellent first stop.

What we need next is a companion piece from Scott on the challenges we face when lighting interior shots.
