Sistine Chapel inspiration

The allusion to The Creation in yesterday's photo of the week might have been lost on some people.  Yesterday was the first day of Rosh HaShannah, the Jewish New Year, that celebrates the creation of the universe.  I thought a depiction of The Creation, or a derivative of it, would be appropriate for the day.

Here's the original art by Michelangelo, painted on the Sistine Chapel.

Here's the uncropped picture of the koi.  I think it bears a resemblance to the above image, at least by suggestion.  The gold fish at the top portray attending angles.

And here's the cropped version that I posted yesterday, suggesting the near-touching fingers.

Is the source of my inspiration now more obvious?
